Joining Us for the First Time?

Welcome! We are looking forward to dancing with you and experiencing the wonderful world of Tango together.
If you already have some experience of Argentine Tango, please contact us so we can discuss which classes will be most suitable for you.

If you are new to Argentine Tango, this page is for you.

Our classes are in the Salon style of Argentine Tango.  If you’re not sure what we mean by this, click here for some video examples of different Tango styles.  We will cover everything you need to know about the dancing itself during the classes: this section is about what you need to know before you come.

Our Foundation Classes are not “drop in” classes. They are part of a 12 – 15 week programme, so please check with us beforehand so we can discuss how best to slot you into a programme if it has already started.

Buying Vouchers for your First Four Classes
Tango is  an enormously enjoyable and rewarding dance, but, like many of the best things in life, it requires a certain level of commitment and perseverance to get the most out of it.    Our classes are put together very carefully and supportively to help you through the challenges of the first few weeks, and we find that  most people soon start to get the hang of it.

It’s impossible to judge whether you will like Tango based on the experience of  the first couple of evenings as starting something new is often the hardest part.  So we ask  you to commit to at least the first four classes, by buying a set of four Introductory Vouchers, at a cost of £36.  Your vouchers  are valid for two months, so you still have a reasonable time to use them even if you have to miss a class.  However, they are not refundable or transferable.    After you’ve used your vouchers, classes are £9 per person, which you pay on arrival each time.

If you are going to miss two or more consecutive classes, especially towards the beginning of the programme, you cannot afford to get left behind, so you will need to discuss with us how we can help you catch up.
