Join us to celebrate the end of an era! This will be our last Milonga for a while as we take a break from running regular monthly Milongas.

The Memorial Hall is a great venue with large sprung wooden floor, attractive hall decoration and atmospheric lighting

Ample seating for everyone – no need to ‘hot-seat

Complimentary light refreshments. Feel free to bring your own additional drinks

Superb sound system – enjoy the music clearly everywhere on the dance floor
Mainly (but not relentlessly) classic Tango, in Tandas with Cortinas
Our playlist display tells you in advance what this and the next Tanda will be

We welcome considerate dancing and good floorcraft in the Salon style

Very easy to find – less than five minutes from the A31. 30 minutes from the M25
Plenty of off road parking in the venue’s own car park

End of Season Informal Milonga – Sunday 1st April, Memorial Hall, Farnham

For those new to Tango South, this informal social evening is a celebration of the end of our current Programme. Join in the fun with an evening of great dancing, a complimentary glass or two of wine and the usual selection of light refreshments and nibbles.
The evening will include:

5.15 – 5.30 Warm up

5.30 – 6.20 Class One: Introduction to Milonga

6.20 – 6.40 Break / Practice

6.40 – 7.30 Class Two: Extra goodies on Milonga
+ an introduction to (or reminder on) Chacarerea, so we can dance it during the evening
+ a quick intro to the Cabeceo – the traditional way to invite / accept / decline a dance. See here for more on the Cabeceo

7.30 – 10.00 Informal Milonga

Prices:
One event (ie Class or Milonga) – £9
2 or 3 events – £11
